Appointment Screening
We are screening all our patients before and at the time of their appointments about COVID-19 symptoms and exposures.
We ask that you reschedule if you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the 48 hours prior to your appointment: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. We will also ask you to reschedule if you have been exposed to, diagnosed with or tested for COVID-19 in the previous 10 days.
Masks
We ask that all patients over the age of 2 wear a mask that has loops or ties that properly covers the nose and mouth throughout the duration of your visit. If the physician needs to examine your lower face or perform a procedure, he or she may ask you to briefly remove your mask.
All of our staff will also be wearing a mask at all times to protect you.
Visitor Policy
We ask that patients come to their appointments alone. Visitors will be asked to wait in the car. Exceptions to our visitor policy include one adult visitor if needed for medical aid, or one parent/guardian for minor patients. Patients and parents are asked to not bring along children unless the child is being seen as a patient.
Exceptions may be granted for patients who require special assistance to access care. Please call our office in advance of your appointment at 704-784-5901 to discuss any questions or concerns regarding visitors with our team.
