About Dr. Mehta:  Dr. Dhwani Mehta has been practicing since 2017, specializing in General Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology. Before moving to Charlotte, Dr. Mehta practiced in Columbus, Ohio. Her areas of interest include pigmented lesions with training in dermoscopy, skin cancer education and treatment, hair loss treatments, specifically platelet rich plasma, biologics, and teledermatology. Dr. Mehta’s patients appreciate her caring and compassionate demeanor. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, sits on numerous national committees, and is a member of the North Carolina Dermatology Association. Dr. Mehta has been awarded Charlotte Magazine’s Top Doctor Award in 2019 and 2020 and Rising Stars Award in 2021 and 2022.
